Nest #89 was found 7-25-2012 by Linda Smith as she was the turtle heading back to the water, this loggerhead came all the way up into the dunes, tried to nest, did not, then went half way back down, did a very sharp turn, cam back up almost to walkover, nested, we found the eggs, did not move. and the walked a quarter of a mile before she went back into the water, we are trying to figure out just why she went so far.
