NEVER PUSH OR ATTEMPT TO ASSIST STRANDED ANIMALS BACK TO THE WATER! More harm can be done and it is illegal without proper permits.

2013: Nest #19

Nest 19 was found east of Alys Beach. Someone had drawn a big circle in the sand around the nest so there were likely spectators. While Turtle Watch appreciates the effort that some people make in marking a nest for us, it is not necessary. Sometimes this kind of activity creates problems for Turtle Watch.

our miracle live hatchling was just coming out of an egg
all other of the 117 eggs had no development
