2013: Nest #46

The track to nest 46 behind 616 Blue Mountain Road found by Richard Fowlkes. This location is behind the 2nd house to the east of the Seagrade Road walkover in the Blue Mountain Beach subdivision. It is Richard’s 4th nest of the year and would have been his 5th if he wasn’t looking after nests on other beaches! It’s a loggerhead nest and the eggs were found by Richard well back at the toe of the dune. Of course it was not moved. The sea turtle came up and went back to the water on an almost identical track. It’s a beautiful, classic loggerhead crawl and nest. Investigated by Dawn and Richard.
