  • Nest # 50 a loggerhead found by Beverly in Watersound

    This nest did not hatch it had water over it from the Hurricane. this is the sad result 93 eggs with no obvious development 0 nest success  

  • Nest #49 a loggerhead found by Rose, again, Hurrah Rose in Seagrove

    This nest has hatched and been evaluated 12 came out of the nest 4 were found alive in nest and released after dark 1 was a dead pipped egg 76 had no obvious development 93 total eggs 17 % nest success This nest had water over it in the storm

  • Nest #48, a loggerhead was found in Inlet Beach let’s hope the lights do not pull the hatchlings off. by Stephanie

  • Nest # 47 a loggerhead was found by Eric and Marsha in Rosemary Beach. This turtle nesting under the walkover

    This nest did not hatch but was dug for evaluation,  Even tho it appeared to be very high on the beach the waters from Hurricane Hermine washed over this nest enough time to stop the embryos from fully forming. 76 dead embryos  were found in the nest 76 total eggs in the nest 0 nest…

  • Nest #46 was found by Cathy in Inlet Beach

    Nest #36 has hatched and been evaluated High tide came at the wrong time and drowned the hatched eggs, so very sad 4 came out of nest 2 were hatched but dead in nest 96 dead embryos 102 total eggs 0 nest success

  • Nest # 45 was found by Katie near Adagio so sorry the vendor had already walked all over the nest and also but umbrellas on nest.a loggerhead

  • Nest # 44 a loggerhead was found by Valerie in Paradise by the Sea

    The Hurricane Hermine brought in so much sand we never did find the eggs,  So sad.  It was a low nest and covered by extra sand.  

  • Nest # 43 was found by Bev in our Miramar Area.

    Nest #43 has hatched and been evaluated 69 hatchlings came out of nest 3 were alive in nest 2 hatched but dead 3 no obvious development 3 dead embryos 79 total eggs 91 % nest success  

  • Nest # 42 a loggerhead was found by Joseph again. Lucky Man

    Nest # 42 did not hatch  it had water over it durning the storm   Very sad results 83 egg had not developed 0 nest survival

    Nest # 41 has hatched and been evaluated 83 escaped from nest 1 hatched but dead in nest 25 no obvious development 109 total eggs 86%nest survival
