A Loggerhead found in Seacrest by Veteran SWTW walker Al. Hurrah UPDATE!! Nest #45 marked in a storm. The turtle came all the way up into the dunes, will now be FC #33. No eggs were found when marked and none when the evaluation was done.

Nest #43 was found on 7-13-2013 a Loggerhead UPDATE!! Nest #43 has hatched and been evaluated and off the beach 1 escaped the nest 106 alive and released 10 no obvious 1 dead embryo 118 total eggs 91% success

Nest #39 Loggerhead, The Retreat. UPDATE!! Nest #39 has hatched and been evaluated and off the beach 95 escaped from nest 1 was alive and released 23 had no obvious development 129 total eggs 74% success
Nest 38 was found in Seagrove by Arlene. Keep coming Sea Turtles. UPDATE!! Nest #38 88 escaped 4 had no development 101 total eggs 93% success Sand was hard packed from rain!
UPDATE!! this was a sad nest for us We are unsure why more hatchlings did not get out and why they died in the nest. Life doesn’t seem fair at times 4 escaped 76 dead in nest 16 dead pipped eggs 6 had no development 104 total eggs 45 % success
