Nest #15 has hatched and been evaluated 113 escaped the nest 1 alive and released 3 had no obvious development 117 total eggs 97% survival percentage

  Nest #14 has hatched and been evaluated 82 escaped from nest 19 alive and released 1 dead in nest 5 had no obvious embryo development 107 total eggs 95 % success rate

  Nest #13 has hatched and been evaluated 127 escaped from nest 15 were alive in nest and released 1 hatched but dead in nest 1 dead pipped egg 3 had no obvious development 147 eggs total 97% hatch success

Nest #12 has hatched and been evaluated 91 escaped from nest 8 alive and released 1 dead hatchling 5 dead pipped eggs 2 no obvious development 107 total eggs 94% hatching success

Nest #11 has hatched and been evaluaated 96 escaped from the nest 10 were alive in nest and released 1 dead in nest 2 pipped eggs 1 obvious development 1 depredated by a ghost crab 111 total eggs 95 % hatching success

Nest # 10 has hatched and been evaluated 81 escaped from the nest 32 were alive in the nest and released 1 dead pipped egg 1 live pipped egg 12 showed no development 127 total eggs 88% survival

Nest #9 has hatched and been evaluated 67 escaped from the nest 3 were alive and released 51 showed no sign of development 121 total eggs 58% survival this turtle a loggerhead laid her nest nice and high we don’t have any idea why 51 eggs did not develop  

This nest did not hatch, we are so pleased to have a leatherback and we hope to have another next year and it will hatch, come on Momma sea turtle
