    Nest #26 99 escaped from nest 2 had no obvious development 101 Total eggs 98 % nest Survival

  • Nest # 25 a loggerhead was found by first year walker Dot in Seaside

    Nest #25 has hatched and been evaluated 75 escaped from the nest 28 were alive in nest and released after dark 5 had no obvious development 108 total eggs 95% nest success

  • Nest #24 found by Rose in Seagrove a loggerhead

    Nest evaluation, no activity for over 80 days, nest dug for evaluation, Turtle came up very high but we think she laid in a high runoff area.  Some eggs opened up and were ound to be only partly developed and had stopped developing.

    This nest was in  lots of vegistation and when we noticed what looked like it should have hatched we waited 3 days and then dug sure enough the roots of the vegetation had trapped the hatchlings 78 hatchlings were found trapped in nest and released 3 eggs had no obvious development 81 total eggs 94%…
